  1. What is the fee for the first consultation and exam? The fee for your initial consultation is $75.00 for 45 minutes. The length of follow-up appointments is based on the number of lab tests to review and the complexity of your health care issues.
  2. Do long distance phone consultations actually work? Yes! Dr. Greg can work with patients over the phone because the nutrition and lifestyle programs we develop are based on the Symptom Survey and lab tests you can take at home or, in the case of blood tests, done at a local lab. Most of the testing we request requires stool, saliva, urine, or hair samples you can easily collect in the convenience and privacy of your home. During your initial consultation, Dr. Greg will ask you questions based on the personal and family health history information you provided. Once all areas have been covered and questions have been answered, your doctor will recommend tests to further evaluate your health concerns. While waiting for test results, your doctor may begin working with you on foundational treatment issues, including dietary modification and/or specific nutritional supplementation. Once your lab work has been completed, your doctor will go over your test results with you and make any adjustments or additional recommendations as needed. Follow-up appointments are determined on an individual basis.
  3. What kind of supplements do you use in your practice? Our supplements are of very high quality and are available only from licensed heath care professionals. Supplements include whole food vitamins, minerals, herbals, and other nutritional support. Because of their potency and efficacy, we carefully monitor the types and amounts of nutritional supplements you take. To get the best results from these supplements, it is very important that you closely follow your customized nutrition and lifestyle plan.
  4. Why not just buy my nutritional supplements at my local grocery store, drug store, health food store or “big-box” store or buy them online? My medical doctor tells me they all the same anyway. Medical doctors who don’t specialize in alternative health care often take a “shotgun” approach to supplements, recommending a vague shopping list of pills and powders from local health food stores. Without a solid plan and specific focus, however, patients commonly end up buying supplements simply because they read about them or a friend or neighbor suggests them. Over time, the cost of this trial-and-error attempt at improving your health is significantly higher and markedly less effective, as these supplements do not have the potency or quality of those sold through a licensed practitioner. Online supplement vendors often sell expired or lesser-quality supplements, which decreases their potency and effectiveness. Simply put, by putting better nutritional supplements into your body, you will be assured a faster response and better outcomes at a lower cost. Pre- and post-lab testing consistently shows that most over-the-counter supplements do not benefit the body in the same way that high-quality, biologically potent supplements do. Over the years, we’ve made it our business to understand which supplements are consistently effective so that our patients get the best possible outcomes quickly.
  5. What types of health conditions does Dr. Greg specialize in? Dr. Greg is a licensed chiropractor and has had a family practice since 1978.
